Ive been on ebay long enough to know better but... well i wasnt paying attention and the deal was good, so i bought a GTX 1060 new out of the box for under a hundred, from irving California, so hey at least they are domestic? nah...
so the card was a fake (Really nice work china looks and feels pretty real!) and upon confirming with Nvidia that the card was indeed a counterfeit (not new, 12 years old card worth about 14 bucks on ebay) i contacted the seller..
Well long story short hes in china, and postage on the card is about 35 bucks to return it, not in california.
I am also hesitant to let this go back out on the market, it is a nice fake, plastic is heavy although printing is a little off with a darker shade of green but it had me fooled, and im a avid gamer+worked in I.T. for a few years.
My fear is that somone is going to drop a hundred bucks on this down the road, and might not have the technical skills to check out the fake untill its to late. The card and everything seems fine untill you strain it or I.D. it using nvidia's software.
So any advice on how to deal with this fairly? any further info helpful?
should i just paypal credit card bill and use the graphics card as a very expensive paperweight? lol..
on the bright side the seller is communicating but the English is broken, and he was offering me a "Heavy discount for this very high quality item" but i just dont need a hoxie graphics card, so a fair resolution is possible.

He sold you a counterfeit item, and so this is a Not as Described return. Open a return ...
