My Local Post Office is asking me for a Scan Sheet

We have been selling on Ebay for over 15 years and this is the first time we have reached a new level of items sold per day on average, to the point our local PO has asked us to print a Scan Sheet.

We have tried Bulk Shipping but we face some challenges that maybe someone can help us with:

  1. Bulk Shipping does not show us the TAX paid by the buyer and we use the amount to auto-calculate profit per item internally.

  2. The fact that items can be mislabeled when printing 20+ labels at a time.

Those are basically our major concerns. If you have any suggestions, please help us out. Thanks!

How many items are you taking to the post office?

1. Financials here: https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true

2. Print a pick list before packing orders, write buyer's name on each package as you pack it. When done, print labels in bulk and match label to package with buyer's name.

This is a common request and you will need to comply or find another PO which does not require a scan sheet, and another after that one. It is frequently required for pickups as well.

How many of you using scan sheets have had the receiving post office count and verify the quantity of both the number of packages and the correct number of type of class of mail(like 10 GA and 15 priority)?

You can print labels out one at a time using bulk shipping, you don't have to do all of them at once. When you go to do your labels, select all but one and click remove, leaving you with one item and print the label. Go to print another label, choose bulk shipping, remove all but one item and repeat. You have to go through and do this for all of your items and it is really kludgy and time consuming, but it works to get all of your labels on one scan sheet if you need to print shipping labels one at a time.

There really should be a better way to generate scan sheets, including removing voided labels and adding labels printed without using the bulk option, but for now it is what it is.
