Managed shipping Label Issues

Anyone experiencing "internal errors" when trying to print a USPS label?   Had one on Friday that would only proceed if I removed the insurance.  Have another one tonight that is higher value and I have to insure it and the label will not generate via eBay.

That's correct: You cannot add ShipCover insurance because they only take PayPal for their premiums, and did not register with Managed Payments to take payments.

Looks like it was a running update they did tonight......   When I went to add insurance, it did not show the "Ship Cover" / "USPS Insurance" drop down.  

Just tried it again and saw the change and it processed.    

I hate running changes like that.  Frustrating.

YES!!

After 10 years of selling on eBay I don't recall any problems with shipping labels BUT right after I was forced into managed payments, I started having the "internal error" issue when trying to add insurance to First Class.  Priority Mail works ok as long as no additional insurance is added.

All of my shipping rates are based on eBay's shipping rates so now I'm being forced to pay $2-$4 more to ship packages Priority than is being calculated.  I simply cannot absorb that cost and I don't feel I can raise my shipping rates that much.

When I contacted "customer service", they told me it was a "reoccuring issue".

Their "solution" was to "go to the post office" and then our call was ended!!!

I assumed because they knew about the issue, it would be "fixed".  But it doesn't look like it's an issue for them, so I'm not sure what to do : (

I have been having the same problem since being forced into Ebay managed payments.   When adding ShipCover insurance no matter if it is first class or Priority mail, you receive the internal error.  If you add USPS insurance which of course is much higher, the label will print.  Have called numerous times to Ebay to find out what the problem is and each time I am being told this is an isolated incident and that they have turned in a ticket to tech.  GEEZ!!!!!
