Labels not printing properly?

Just started having issues with ebay shipping labels not printing properly. The barcode is not complete and the Mail designation letter in top left corner of label such  "P" for priority or "F" for first class is all jumbled up.

This happens when I try to print my label from my web browser like always. If I actually download the PDF label and print it through Adobe acrobat, the label prints just fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Labels not printing properly?

Since it prints properly when you down load and open in Adobe, it is likely your browser has reverted to using its built in reader to open PDF files rather than Adobe.  Go check that setting.

Re: Labels not printing properly?

Yes, same problem. I think it has to do with Apple computers. I have been printing labels just fine until 2 or 3 weeks ago. The tech people at eBay must have made some changes. They need to fix it.

I don't have adobe. I can drag it off from my "my shipping labels" then print. But who needs all this extra work?

Re: Labels not printing properly?

This has been happening in the Firefox browser for some time. When the option to Print or Download label, I just click download and it auto opens in my local .pdf and I print.....

seems like browser viewers are glitchy and unreliable (sizing, etc....)

Re: Labels not printing properly?

Note there is a current problem with Firefox 103 on a Mac, and that problem is being worked on by Firefox.  Otherwise on a PC, Firefox works fine and should be set to open PDF files with Adobe for ebay labels.

Re: Labels not printing properly?

So, I had the same problem...barcodes and left corner code all bloated and wonky. Seems as though it is a Firefox/Mac issue. I was able to solve the problem by updating Firefox to 104.0.2, then went into Firefox preferences and changed the "Applications" setting: Portable Document Format (PDF)/Use Mac default application. Tried printing label again and it came out fine. I noticed the printer reverted back to my default Mac printer dialog box...for whatever that's worth. I'm not a tech person, so this is all I have to offer, but it worked for me:) Good luck all and Happy Ebaying:)

Re: Labels not printing properly?

@msrat3  Glad that worked, but it may depend on the Mac OS version as well.  Firefox has fix the problem starting with V106.
