Seeking Advice: 3 Items Not Received by Buyers — All Shipped April 1
Hello eBay Community,
I’m reaching out for guidance on a difficult situation. I sold three items on March 31, and all were shipped on April 1 with tracking. Unfortunately, none of the buyers have received their packages yet.
One buyer already opened an “item not received” case, and I issued a full refund to resolve it quickly. The other two buyers have not opened cases yet but are growing increasingly frustrated. Tracking shows delays or limited movement, but no final delivery.
I’m beginning to consider issuing refunds to the remaining buyers to preserve my account health and customer satisfaction — but doing so would mean a financial loss on all three sales.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation with multiple packages being severely delayed or lost around the same timeframe? Is there any way to escalate this with USPS or protect myself as a seller?
I appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to handle this professionally and fairly — both for the buyers and for myself.
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't issue refunds just yet..
An item not received only hurts if you fail to properly handle it.
You still have some time.. If the buyer does open a case, enter your tracking info into the case and this will give you even more time. If the packages are moving, eBay will usually extend the time.
Do you care to share one or more of the tracking numbers so the mailing experts can take a look at what might be happening?
They may be taking the long way around due to the weather disasters that have happened but it's hard to tell without looking at the tracking history.
