Hi Good day , 

One thing I'll seen in many places when connecting with the ebay community is that a lot of people do not like shipping in China. What is the reason for that?

If you mean why we don't like dropshipping or any shipping from China, the reason I don't is because China is the Counterfeit Capital of the World. 

I've received fake Toshiba transistors,  jeans, tops, make-up, depression glass, jadeite, Dresden, Advantage flea control, Royal Apothic hand cream, Ambush cologne, Gillette Good News disposable razor blades, and an obviously fake gold filigree jewelry casket and an antique magnifying glass. All counterfeit, compliments from China.

There are always good and bad in anything. But China has more bad than good. Besides the counterfeit items, quality of unique items are very low as well

All these watches are made in China for years. Show me a quality brand. There is none 

Jewelry made in China has the same inferior quality. Stones fall, workmanship on very basic items are far lower than average 

Clothing look good  for a moment, once moment is gone, that's it, nothing worth paying 

Best and only Chinese shoes are the canvas deck shoes

... Just no quality products

China is a bit like Myanmar for many.Previously people would consciously object to visiting to Myanmar because of the government. Some people boycott,where possible, Chinese products due to their objections of Chinese politics.Plus it tends to be fake, overpriced crap that isn't worth putting in a box and posting

I do my very best to avoid buying from countries where  melamine in baby formula and lead in children's toys is  par for the course.

Too many items being made and sold/shipped for less than cost because of government subsidies, flooding the market. Too many sellers of same items. Shipping time delays.

Having warehouses in the US, payments still go to China. 

If the You-Tube stories are correct, Amazon gave the boot to numerous seller because of faking sales.

Counterfeit, Cheaply made, chemical items are not at the top of most peoples list.

Long shipping time. I stay Stay away from something UNBRANDED.

OH and I read the feedback of a seller and see when members are buying cheap items thinking it helps their feedback.

Some of us just like to spend money in our own country to help stimulate our own economy.

My dad taught me to spend my money locally, you got a good chance at getting it back but the farther away you go to spend it, the less chance you will see any of it back.   Made sense seeing most business's he spent money with locally also hired or at least recommended us to do work for them or their friends.
