I live in airbnbs in Alaska where I have no mailing address. I ordered a pair of shoes that the shipper indicated would be sent via USPS; using an address of General Delivery, which 1000% means "send to the post office." At no point was I told the authenticator would change the shipment to FedEx, who will NOT, under any circumstances, deliver to the post office. eBay told me the address should've flagged it and stopped the transaction as undeliverable before processing it, as it is a USPS address, but it did not. the order was non refundable and by the time FedEx attempts 3 deliveries, sends it back to the authenticator where it sill sit for a couple more days before being shipped back, I will be fully off the grid in Alaska with no options to receive mail for awhile-longer than the 30 days they will hold the package and I need the shoes before then anyways. FedEx will not release the package and ebay said all i can do is have it re-shipped, which is simply not an option. Do i have any options here??
