I had an item that I refunded the buyer for over a year ago and a few days ago Ebay took the amount out of my account again. I keep trying to contact customer service but they pick up and hang up on me evertime. What do I do?

How did you email them? There is no email customer service for those of us in the US. If you replied to an email, it went to a box that is never checked. Since today is Sunday, I would call back tomorrow on Monday early in the morning so that hopefully you get a US based rep.

I think you may just be having an issue with what or where you are going to contact Ebay.
Ebay hasn't had Email Customer Service in years. So I'm not sure where you got the information much less what address you may have used.
Your problem is a strange one and one I've never heard of before. Ebay doesn't even keep online records that go back that far. You might be confusing it with a more current transaction. But certainly you do need to talk with customer service.
Once you do, come back and update us here as I'm sure we all would like to know how this turns out for you and what the actual problem was. Or if they can't resolve it, come on back and give us more details and we might be able to help you here.
Here is a link to get to the proper customer service phone number. BTW, asking them to call you [an option on the link below] I find works really well and you don't have to hang on the phone waiting for them to get on the line. I do however recommend waiting until tomorrow to call in. You'd have a better chance of getting a US CSR.

You’re being scammed. If you’re seeing the charge on your credit card, file a chargeback with them. If you’re seeing the charge on your PayPal account, file with them first. If you don’t see the charge on either but are relying on the email, just delete and ignore.
