International Shipping

Another glitch? Does anyone know why USPS First Class International was removed from listings? The listings in my store this morning have no International method selected where there had been USPS First Class International for items under 4 pounds.  It looks like a new method USPS First Class Parcel was added to the choices I don't remember seeing it before.  The easy fix would be to add GSP to all but buyers complain that GSP costs them more. Bulk editing my whole store to figure out which items are under 4 pounds to add an international method will be time consuming and I find bulk editing does not always work well especially using the search and replace "feature". Anybody else notice this snafu this morning? Suggestions? Already reached out to ebay for Business on Facebook no reply yet.

First Class Int'l Parcel replaced First Class Int'l several months ago or maybe even a year ago.

It happened due to USPS making the distinction of packages vs letters.

There were several posts about it here in the community.

USPS First Class Mail International / First Class Package International Service both the same on my pages, I wouldn't worry about it.

There’s been no change and no snafu. First class international parcel is the correct shipping method. If you were previous using first class letter, then perhaps you didn’t see the announcement & change in January? First class letter/flat can no longer be used for merchandise. Only documents.

I checked my listings that had First Class International for shipping and it was missing from all of them.  I had to go back in and just re-add it to the listings. It wasn't like that yesterday so this change just happened. 

Luckily we're closing up shop in a couple of weeks (our shipping/receiving guy is retiring and I'm taking over his job) so I barely have anything for sale at this point. It only took a couple of minutes to change the listings manually.

I had it happen to me this morning as well.  First  I had  A customer asked me if I ship to Portugal. Which I ship worldwide without the GSP.  When I looked at the listing international shipping was turned off and it seems eBay removed the option from all of my listings. Only priority mail which is extremely expensive for something under 4 pounds.  Also after I book edited everything on the browser I switch back to the app and it still did not reflect the changes on there. So I contacted eBay and they told me BC international shipping showing on my listings. However they were unaware of   the issues On the app.  They just sent in a repair ticket for technician to look at it. They had no answer for me or resolution.   So today when I listed my items after I was done I just went into the browser version in balk at it and added the international shipping.   All these changes lately the eBay have been one headache after another

I'm still seeing First Class International offered in my listings, but if I try to revise one, or add a new listing, the First Class option is gone.

I tried to call eBay about it today by clicking on the "Call Me" box, but I got an error message saying, "Temporarily unavailable." Thanks, eBay! I love to call YOU and sit on hold for 45 minutes, listening the whole time to "The Death of Lady Mondegreen" (or whatever song that is) played over and over.

It usually takes several days to get a reply. Not a few hours. I’m not sure why you need their help? If your listings show first class parcel service, then that is the correct shipping method as you’ve been told by several responders.

No I have a portion of 900 listings that have no  international shipping selected where yesterday I had USPS First Class International selected  on most everything under 4 lbs.

Same situation for us! Intl is not calculating anything listed within the last day that I can tell. Some have it some do not. We never noticed Intl Parcel only FCM. I called Ebay and belive the CSR had no clue what he was doing. He told us FCM up to 16 oz and FCM Parcel for 17 to 3 lbs is the new way to do things.  He also said items over 16oz will be showing up on seller hub for items that are over 16oz and shipping method will ne to be change to FCM Parcel. I do not like these glitches or the time we spend to correct issues brought on by un-announced changes Ebay makes.

Not doing anything for the next 48 hours is what the CR recommended. SMH
