Incorrect return address on shipping label for item that sold

Hello. I just made my first sale on Ebay.  My address is in NY - listed as my primary address. (I never deleted my previous addresses.)  I did  calculated shipping, where I entered my NY zip code and everything seemed fine, however, I just printed out my shipping label and it has my old address in Minneapolis for my retur address.  Can I resolve this at the post office? I don't even know how it occurred since again, Ebay has my primary address in New York.

You can void the label and purchase another on PayPal, USPS website or post office or wherever until you get the address corrected, here is the ebay link that may help>

The return address on your shipping labels is not connected to other entries in eBay for your address. Probably because sellers do ship from different locations.  

IIRC there's a "Change" link on the label preparation form, next to or below your return address, so you can update it. And the change carries over for future labels (or at least it did, the last time I changed by own return address).

Update your registration, ship to, ship from, return and pick up addresses on this page. I'm assuming it's your ship from address that's wrong.

Go to this page to void the first label. It will take a few weeks for the refund to be credited to your account.

Then go to your Orders page and find the transaction. Under the actions drop down on the left select "purchase shipping label" so you can buy a new label. When the label page comes up, make sure the ship from addresses matches the one you updated in your account settings. It should, but if it doesn't, @emilyhpr651, then you can update it on that page, too.

According to the OP, he did get the Ship From ZIP correct ("I did  calculated shipping, where I entered my NY zip code and everything seemed fine"), but the Return address is out of date. 

While it should be fixed before printing any more labels (and directions were given above on how to do that), I don't know if I'd be all that worried about the old Return address showing on the label. You could even stick a corrected address over it on a small piece of paper, being careful to keep the Ship From ZIP visible. In the unlikely event that the buyer wants to return the item, you may be sending a return label anyway.

I'm pretty sure that "did calculated shipping" refers to the listing itself, not to the shipping label form's "Ship from" ZIP Code.  Even so, if the package ends up RTS it will go to whatever is showing as the return address.

Thanks for your help!  Blerg! My return addy is correct and there's no way this can happen again!  All my old addresses are deleted now. 🙂 Adventures in Ebay.
