I used a QR code for two packages

One was sent out on the 20th and one was sent on 22. I contacted the buyer who is going to receive the package about my mistake. Not sure how to go the rest of the way. Should I cancel the shipping that I didn't use or can I send it to the other buyer?

Thanks for any help

Re: I used a QR code for two packages

@gadgetmans_attic

Do I understand correctly?

You printed QR Code 1 for package 1 and shipped on the 20th.

You printed QR Code 2 for package 2.

You shipped package 2 using QR code 1 by accident

You now have unused QR Code 2

--------------- Correct?

You can have buyer 1 ship to buyer 2 using QR code 2, but buyer 2 should be made aware and accept the solution in case they have any privacy concerns (buyer 1 will have their name and address).

Some would argue the correct solution is to have buyer 1 return the package to you (at your expense) and for you to ship the package to buyer 2.

You should be able to use QR code 2 in either case (I believe unused QR codes expire after a certain time period has passed - you may want to confirm with USPS)

Re: I used a QR code for two packages

If 1 buyer is going to receive both packages, hopefully they'll return the wrong item.

If they don't, you'll have to refund the other buyer.

Yes, you can void the unused label.

Have a great day.

Re: I used a QR code for two packages

Are you saying you purchased two labels that are the same?   If so, were you charged for both?  I don't quite understand what you did.  Can you explain it better?

Re: I used a QR code for two packages

I only purchased one but when I went to the post office I showed them the first QR code twice thinking I deleted it I must have deleted the wrong one. I was using my phone, I normally print the QRs and tape them to the boxes, but the printer is whacked out printing big white lines.
