How much longer do i wait?

The estimated delivery date has come and gone. The item was purchased 2 weeks ago. It still says not shipped. The seller has been very poor when it comes to responding back to me. 4 messages to the seller and I've only received one back... Which was 3 days ago and it goes as followed. "So sorry. Just noticed that the item had sold. I will ship it today around 2:00pm. Thanks" Any advice? Should I wait longer to see if it arrives? If so, how much longer should I wait before filing a claim. The seller has yet to get back to my last message to her.

If you want the item, wait a few more days - maybe 4 - before opening the Item Not Received case.  If you just want your refund, you can open it now.

Please remember that eBay is made up of many, many individual sellers, most of whom are very good, ship quickly and treat buyers with professional courtesy.  eBay itself has no control over sellers, but does punish them for failure to perform, and with  several violations, does kick them off the site.   Choose your sellers carefully by checking out the feedback other buyers have left for them, and also be observant of their location, as items from other countries take much longer to arrive.

You've got quite a bit more time to initiate an Item Not Received claim so since it has only been 3 days since the seller's communication, I'd suggest allowing more time to receive your purchase.  Seems your seller is not checking emails daily.  After you receive your item, if all is well, you can reflect your opinion in feedback.

Even though I paid for the item and the ridiculously pricey shipping 2 weeks ago and my edd has come and gone, I still have a good bit of time to wait for the package? That's nonsense. Excuse me if I'm coming off as bleek but I'm not the average eBay buyer. This is my first purchase and I thought 2 weeks was plenty of enough time get an item 3 states away. Assuming eBay thought it would've been enough time as well since they determined the delivery date. It is not a fault on my end and if you're selling an item on eBay you should have enough responsibility to check your items and what has sold. It shouldn't take 10 days for a seller to notice that one of her items had sold. Correct? I'm so sorry, once again, if I'm sounding hostile. I just don't do eBay shopping and its all quite annoying to me now, including the seller that's no longer getting back to me now.

You are right to be upset.Open an INR case. The seller will need to respond with a tracking number within a certain time frame. If your item still has not arrived after that ask Ebay to step in. They will close the case in your favor and refund your money. Very sorry you got a bad seller. Please don't give up on Ebay. There are many more good sellers than bad ones.
