How are late shipping dings calculated?

I have received a late shipping ding for "Tracking indicates late delivery" and I don't understand why.

 

  • Item shipping service: Economy shipping
  • Payment cleared date and time: Jan 18, 2018 11:46:42 PST (from the late delivery report spreadsheet)
  • First scan date: 1/19/2018  2:10:00 AM (from the spreadsheet), Friday, Jan 19, 2018 9:10 AM    In FedEx possession - Tendered at FedEx location (from online tracking)
  • Delivery scan: 1/29/2018  9:32:00 AM (from the spreadsheet), Monday, Jan 29, 2018 4:32 PM Delivered - Package delivered by U.S. Postal Service to addressee (from online tracking)

 

I realize this took a while to get there (it happens, despite being a short distance), but I got a scan for this within way less than 24 hours. Why am I being dinged? I thought I was protected.

How are late shipping dings calculated?

You have to call Customer Service to fix your late shipping defect.  You shipped with acceptance scan within your handling time.
