Hi everyone, I'm looking for your expertise on listing & selling trading cards. I've been a little intimidated at the idea mainly due to confusion on how the shipping would work. I've heard that bubble mailers should be used over envelopes, as you can place shipping labels on them & receive tracking/proof of delivery. But when it comes to calculating the shipping price, how does it work for bubble mailers? I've always sold items in boxes, so I know it's calculated by the weight & box dimensions. How do you know what to put for the dimensions for the bubble mailer? Lastly, how do you guys recommend I go about packing the cards as safely as possible? I've heard they should be put in protective sleeves like penny sleeves, placed in a hard toploader, and then tape the top of said toploader. Thank you all for your assistance and time!

So the bubble mailer I have is 7 inches by 9 inches. Do I put 7 as the length, 1 as the width, and 9 as the height? After weighing the card in the bubble mailer, it came out to 1 ounce, and for USPS First Class, the shipping was calculated to be $3.80-$4.20. Does that sound right?

How do you ship in a normal envelope without having tracking? A stamp is like $0.40 for a cheap card but don’t want to screw myself or the buyer by charging them $3.50-$4 for shipping, it would also keep people from buying my item because of cost of the shipping?
