Hinky return

I sold and item, the customer asked to return it, not a problem. The return was approved, and the last day to ship, the customer shipped, the problem is the tracking number says it's coming via first class not the priority I sent it as. The weight of the item is far above the first class limit.  I feel like Im about to get a scam. What do I do?

If the buyer used a return label through eBay it's fine.   Return labels can go up to 70 lbs first class.

Hinky return

Okay, that's awesome, thanks I didn't know return labels were different from the shipping that went to 16 oz. I'm much less stressed knowing that. Thanks!!!

I wouldn't second-guess the buyer at this stage, all too often buyers will re-package the item using their own box and there's no telling what they're doing, you really have to wait until the package's arrival and yes return labels are pretty liberal in that sense.
