I saved a screenshot after placing my order to buy it now. The item was guaranteed to be delivered by May 26, 2020. Now, the guarantee is gone and is changed to an estimated delivery date of May 28, 2020. A guarantee is a binding agreement. The changing of the guarantee after the order creates a case of estoppel where based on the reliance of the eBay guarantee, I then place an order which I otherwise would not have. Also by changing the terms and removing the guarantee after the order, eBay has shown bad faith in an attempt to avoid paying damages in the amount of $5 should the delivery be late.
To add insult to injury, after reading the thread titled "Guaranteed Delivery date gets changed ???" I did as instructed and contacted eBay support. The transcript is attached below as a reference.

it should not be changed, once you placed your order your seller cannot make any changes on any details that she/he provide on the lsiting

this is very poor customer service. first you state that no one should be able to change the terms of the guarantee after the order is placed. you can not provide an explaination why ebay changed the terms anyway, then you tell me there is no supervisor,
then you cant provide corporate or legal department contact information
We are within the period of your delivery date, file your complain once you have not received youe order on your expected delivery date
