Hello.
Unfortunately I made a mistake and used ebay global shipping program.
I didn't receive my Item, the shipping company (GCX) don't bother to answer and last week ebay sent me a message that I received the item and the case is closed.
Now I did read a lot about the bad service of GCX and I will probably won't get any answer (or the item) from them.
At this point I still didn't receive my item, no one answers in GCX and as far as ebay consern the case is closed and I can just forget my money or my item.
My question is why ebay also gives such a bad service, don't take responsibility and of top of all let the buyers throw their money away?

Is the seller in the UK or the U.S.? You need to contact the GSP via the appropriate eBay site. (This is the U.S. public discussion board, not eBay itself.) If the seller is in the U.S., perhaps you can direct an inquiry to the community managers via
I am flagging @Anonymous and alan@ebay here, but don't expect a response until Tuesday because of the Memorial Day holiday in the U.S.
Also, if you paid via Paypal, you can try contacting them to dispute the charges as "item not received." Another option is to file a complaint with your credit card company if you paid with a card.

Hi @duchess-at-speakeasy, it looks like the OP posted in May of 2017 so this is not something we would be able to review currently as too much time has passed since the transaction occurred. In general, I can confirm that if an item is lost in transit when in the hands of our Global Shipping Program, the buyer would be protected and the seller would not be held at fault.
