Does anyone know if it is possible after listing an item(without a bid)to change the delivery method to the GSP?  If so how is it done please? 

My husband is pulling his hair out(despite being nearly bald) as he has had an enquiry about his item from Japan.  The item weighs 5kg so unable to send through normal International Shipping apparently.  He has sold Many  ITEMS ON EBAY BUT THEY NOW SEEM TO BE CONCENTRATING ON  BUSINESS SELLERS SO he IS LOSING CONFIDENCE WITH ebAY NOW.

You are on the US discussion board and we have replaced the GSP with another program. But when we did have the GSP, you could not add it to a live listing. You had to already have been set up with the GSP when the listing was made.

You might want to try the UK board to see if they have suggestions for sending a 5kg package.

As an aside, I've sent many packages directly to Japan and have never had a problem.

Here on the .com forum we can enable/disable eBay International Shipping through our shipping preferences page. Global Shipping Program was discontinued on .com.
