As a buyer, I just want to say how impressed I am with ebay's global shipping program. When the seller uses that option, the item arrives within days of purchase, instead of months, and the shipping cost is very reasonable. Whenever I buy on ebay, my packages invitably get held up at customs and it causes endless headaches. Not so with the global shipping program! I pay much less custom charges up front with the global shipping program than I do with normal shipping, because my country's customs officials dont know what they are doing. I can finally buy really expensive items with the peace of mind that it will reach me fast and all the costs are already paid. GO EBAY! I was wondering if anybody can help me, is there a search option where you can only search for items where sellers use this option for international shipping? Lets say I looking for a certain watch, how can I limit my search to those sellers that uses the global shipping program? I never want to buy anything any other way again!

I find your post very weird. There is no way that GSP or any other method is getting you your itrems in just DAYS! For one thing the whole process starts off with a delay in shipping to you. Because the selle r must first ship your item to a Sortin Center in the Stat3e of Kentucky. The Center then takes at least another day to ship to you.
In addition, unless you are buying large, expensive items---the S&H you pay is MUCH higher than if the selller had shipped to you himself, using USPS.
Me too, how can GSP be faster than seller doing the shipping, since seller has to ship to GSP center in Kentucky and then GSP repackages and ship to buyer country.
unless OP is talking about South Africa customs office, since GSP collects customs duty from buyer and passes on to S A customs ,it expedites customs clearance.
It also sounds like from OP,the customs duty she paid to GSP to fork over to S A customs is less than what regular shipment of the same content would pay ,if so, more power to her.

all well and good if you live outside a united states zip code BUT a lot of sellers are using dhl gobal to ship to us zip codes which is ten times slower than usps parcel post which results in buyr **bleep** mode and buyer leaves negative feedback i do all the time so maybe you sellers better add dhl global as your shipping method or you will receive negative feedback for decieving your buyers.

its the same here in Denmark.
The Global Shipping Program is cheaper and faster than the danish postal service.
I try to avoid direct sellers that ship direct to Denmark if buying from the USA... why? because the danish post office put a fee $25 on top of 25% sales tax and the serivce is very bad with the danish postal service... often they dont even scan shipments anymore... the service is so bad with the danish postal service because most people get letters digital now so theres not so many letters to delivery anymore.
if I buy from a seller who uses GSP, I avoid the post office and the $25 handling fee and only have to pay $25 sales tax that I'm charged at checkout and shipping is way cheaper using GSP... I have seen heavy items with direct shipping for like $75 shipping cost while GSP only charge $20-$35 shipping. everything send direct without GSP will be taxed if its over $12... our postal service is very bad and worse than USPS and Canadian post etc.
I would like a option to only search for GSP sellers as well.
