Tried to post this in the knowledge base but it seems to be dead...
I've read a lot of threads on this, but I wanted to see if I could get some specific info:
I'd like to get back into international shipping (did it before but somewhere along the line rules changed and some countries weren't allowing me to print at home and I just didn't feel like dealing w/ it and stopped doing it all together).
I know there are certain countries that will track your package - do they track all the way to the address or just to the country itself? I'm just worried about claims that my package didn't arrive.
Also, I enrolled in the GSP, but after reading more, since almost all of my items are under 4lbs, most under 1lb, I don't know if that's the best option.
What I'm wondering is if I can do both. Can I use the GSP just for the countries that don't provide tracking to protect my purchases? Can I use the GSP on specific auctions for heavier items?
Also, I used to charge a $2 handling fee to cover customs and such but is this included in the buyer's shipping cost already? I know Paypal charges more so I could still throw it in for that.
