Free shipping

I have items that I want to offer free shipping within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and international, but still want to sell to them.

How is that possible?

Also is possible to only list selling outside of the United States?

Thanks!

Why do you want to exclude Hawaii and Alaska?

Free shipping

Because it's more expensive.

Your statement is false.

Since you live in Michigan, shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is the same as shipping to California.

I do not think you can exclude us states from shipping offers like free shipping. At least not on ebay. This is because, among other things, priority mail flat rate costs are the same. I would calculate shipping online and check prices, in my experience, those places are not more expensive.

What are you planning to ship? Maybe someine will have specific advice.

The OP's listing shows that she is shipping from Lake Ann, Michigan. The website at usps.com says that the ZIP Code there is 49650.  If you use USPS's zone chart generator for that ZIP Code, you will see that shipping to our friends in Beverly Hills 90210 is the Zone 8 postage rate, same as Alaska and Hawaii.

Yes, you can. In your site preferences under Shipping, you can set up state-specific prices, so you can offer free shipping to 48 states and charge an appropriate increment to other domestic locations (Alaska, Hawaii, PR, etc.).

Oh cool thank you @nobodys*perfect. I had never seen that. I swear this website is the real life version of 100 cupboard. So many features, so little time.

You can actually exclude  Alaska and Hawaii from your shipping locations.   You can also exclude any international shipping.   Down at the bottom of the listing page look for Excluded Shipping Locations and click Edit.  The menu comes up and you can choose the locations you don't want to ship to.  I exclude Alaska , Hawaii,  P.O. Boxes and US Protectorates because they aren't ground transport areas for economy shipping.  I only ship to those excluded areas when I can mail using USPS flat rate envelopes or packages.

But the OP said, "I want to offer free shipping within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and international, but still want to sell to them."

Since you are located in California, that policy makes no sense.  Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, etc. costs the same as shipping to me here on the east coast.  And at current rates, USPS ground services (Retail Ground and Parcel Select Ground) cost the same as regular Priority Mail rates that are based on weight and distance.
