Just went to list my first item in a couple months...When I got to the International Shipping choices on my listing page I noticed the box where I used to click for the GSP was no longer there. After a little research I found out about the new EIS Program that is replacing the previous GSP...I understand that each eligible listing is now set to a default setting for the EIS Program and I no longer have to choose that as an option...After reading about the new program I have a couple questions I was hoping someone can help me with.

1. I have read on a few forum posts that under the new EIS program buyers have to wait until their item is delivered BEFORE getting paid. Is this true or is it the same as the GSP where I am paid when the item sells?

2. Does the new program work exactly like the old GPS where I simply ship the sold item to the eBay shipping hub?

I can answer #2....it is sent to a hub similar to GSP

I don't know about #1...in my case there was no delay if I recall

check your preferences to make sure you are still 'opted-in' to international shipping...

one of my accounts still uses GSP....slow rollout for some reason

Thanks for the reply....Yes my site preferences right now are "on" for the new EIS program. My main concern is under this new program do I receive payment for my sold item when its purchased or after it is delivered. This seemed to be an unresolved issue in an earlier post I was reading. Hoping someone can give a definitive answer on this.

There was a Post about having to wait for payment a while ago. It was answered by eBay that you will be paid as you normally would. If you search you may be able to find the Post?

Yes, you just ship to the eBay Shipping Hub. It sounds like a nice shipping option, is cheaper that the GSP, buyer decides if they pay Customs Upfront or when received and it reads that there will not be the 1.65% International Fee is used.

Thanks for the reply...There were several sellers in the thread I read that stated payment was issued as normal but there were several others claiming it was issued upon delivery. I did not see anything in that post from eBay clarifying which it was...I will take a look again but I appreciate the input
