ESUS tracking number

I just want to say that it sucks losing money and not getting items you pay for. The post office does not recognize the tracking numbers and eBay says they were delivered. I got one out of three delivered. The two more expensive ones did not come, but the say they did. I even left negative feedback for auction kings and now I notice that it is removed. Wow? Lesson learned. I guess I will buy my coins from the U.S. Mint. This sucks.

Re: ESUS tracking number

Yea you have to sometimes wait a few extra days for the item to show up. ESUS tracking sucks as the the items are not scanned at time of delivery it’s more like an estimated delivery date. I spend to much time responding to where’s my item question from customers, using eBay send sucks and eBay doesn’t care.

Re: ESUS tracking number

so true! i have spend lots of time communicating with a seller (very nice, provided me with their info on the ESUS delivery) and Ebay, and the DHL service they used here in europe... But to no avail. My item's status was "delivered" on jan 19, but it did not arrive at all. No amount of escalation has helped me.

It is not about getting my money back, but finding the item i bought! Where on earth did they dump it and why cant Ebay get to the bottom of this with me? Should be in their interest to find out what DHL did to it?

Re: ESUS tracking number

I got one item from an esus/ebay seller, the other showed it was delivered. My mailman was on duty that day AND I saw him an hour ago and he didn't have it.

I typed on google; ebay esus not delivered. I saw something that it was delivered to a post office.

So, I called regional usps cust service because calling local p. off is useless.

The lady couldn't locate it with a esus number.

solution: no more ebay for me.

Maybe atty general office in each state can do research.

Re: ESUS tracking number

So negative feedback because the seller did his job? Yes, eBay does remove that negative because it's unfair to the seller. For all he knows, you are scamming him. Read up on ESUS and see that it is more an estimated delivery. 100% of the time when it says 'delivered' it shows up. Sometimes 1-5 days later but it shows. People like you are the reason good sellers are leaving.

Re: ESUS tracking number

I completely agree with you.

To the poster, if the item is not delivered by the estimated arrival date, give it 3 or 4 more days and then open an item NOT received case.  If tracking shows delivered, go to the post office with the tracking #.  The postal system shows more details when you give them the tracking number.  They have gps and will know if the item was delivered to 10 Elm St or 10 Elm Ave.    Also it's very possible that the item was stolen from your porch/hallway.  As long as tracking shows delivered  or at least shows movement, the seller is NEVER ever responsible.

Dear poster, it's very very possible that some sellers reading this post have blocked you from bidding on their auction because they do not want to get a negative if your item is stolen once delivered. I don't block you because I do not sell coins.

Re: ESUS tracking number

Nah the ESUS tracking will be the reason sellers and buyers leave… I legit will message every seller I buy Pokémon cards from and ask them to use normal tracking…  not only do they NOT scan at every stop (which is appallingly ridiculous) I’m sure people are catching on to this and are just stealing small ESUS packages because they know it’s Pokémon cards.

had a suicune day delivered about a month ago and still hasn’t come… just a buy trying to build a modern card collection and have had not many issues, and non with normal tracking

Re: ESUS tracking number

I sell a lot of low cost coins with free shipping, guess what it is? If you want tracked first class that is going to not be free. If you have bought and paid for a coin and did not contact me before paying to ask me to invoice you for a tracked shipment, out it goes with an ESUS number. You can track that on 3rd party sites (not the USPS) but yes delivery is a guesstimate.

I do always have an option for a tracked shipment method, but often it is priority. Hey if you want your $4.95 coin fast and tracked for $8, I'll do that.

But seriously, if you are buying, at least look at the shipping options listed, if you aren't happy with them then contact the seller before you pay. At least then you can request a cancelation if you can't work out something.

Re: ESUS tracking number

Yes, the seller is responsible if they do not disclose they are using ESUS.

When I agree to first class postage, I expect that service and all its glory

What I really dislike is USPS subsidizing big companies shipping, there is no reason a flat rate envelope for priority mail is $9.90, more government playing a shell game with taxpayer dollars

Re: ESUS tracking number

Yeah but this whole crap mail process eBay offers is the worst as sellers we give refunds and list the card and cash because of it or we get bad feedback all because of this ebsy shipping who doesn’t even stand behind it but blames the usps it’s **bleep**. You call them and they don’t know anything lol but yet they advertise it lol hmmmm wonder what a lawyer would think of that ?
