If you use a real drop shipper company it's allowed. Your not allowed to just send the order to another mail order company.   That said, drop shipping is a very bad idea. You have no control on what, when or if the items get shipped out. They do run out of stock now and then. Also any returns or shipping damage claims are paid by YOU.  Then you have to deal with the drop shipper.  Too many problems and ebay will ban you from selling for life.

Did the make millions drop shipping on eBay course make it to India?  At least it's not a Sri Lanka.

Drop shipping is bad for you.  It wrecks your money and your eBay account.  It makes people scream for refunds and you are required to refund them.   The drop shipper will not refund you.  That's a great idea for losing a lot of money.

This morning I received a special offer on something I had in my watchlist.  I accepted it and paid. Seven hours later the seller who was in SRI LANKA said there had made a mistake, asked me to cancel the order, and pay $400 more for the same item.  I replied that E-bay offers and transactions are legally binding and I was reporting the transaction to Ebay. The seller harassed me over E mail for a while. I mentioned that this was online fraud and Ebay needed to investigate. I was offered another deal on the same item, still considerably more than the original "special offer".  Later I found the sale cancelled, I clicked on details and it said "buyer requested the cancellation" BULL**bleep**!!! I did no such thing, reported this to ebay as well.  Even though the seller was in SRI LANKA all the merchandise was supposed to be shipped from China, in other words Bait and Switch dropship hustle. Waiting to see what Ebay does about this.

You need to REPORT the seller to give them the defect they DESERVE. They are trying to worm their way out of an out of stock defect by LYING about their buyer. I absolutely HATE these kinds of sellers.

First screen>the seller has violated one of Ebay's policies

Second screen>the seller doesn't want to complete the sale.

State in the comment box that the seller is trying to avoid a defect by lying about his buyer.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Since people in Sri Lanka can't legally accept payments by Pay Pal, they shouldn't be selling here anyway.

Have A Great Day.

Not a good idea at all.  You are responsible for the purchase and buyers aren't happy when their merchandise arrives from third party.  You are responsible for refunds on all returns.
