Hi! I ordered an item on eBay to be delivered from Rochester, New York to Finland and the tracking is telling me it’s available for pickup in Philadelphia. Is it that USPS has delivered it there for eBay to collect and ship out internationally?

Could you share the tracking number for those that might try to decipher it for you, please..
Thank you

Is it being shipped straight to Finland or are you using a freight forwarder?

You don't where you shipped it to? What did the label say?

No it’s being shipped to me. I’m not the sender

If you look at the details to the right on this service it seems to be in the Asendia service with a delivery date of May 12. Don't panic.. Give it til May 12.

eBay International Standard Delivery has a hub there. Your seller shipped with eISD which means it's going to a (3rd party) hub somewhere in the US and the hub will fill out the customs paperwork and add the international label then forward it to you.
On eBay you should see this pretty clearly on the tracking pop up where it will split up the tracking scans into steps. Step 1: Seller to hub / Step 2: At hub / Step 3: Hub to you
In other words you have nothing to worry about, all is progressing normally @olwilt-62 .

I was able to decipher the tracking but as usual I learned something from your post today.
I will bank that for the future.

Ah sorry, there were no replies when I opened the original post and I forgot about it - didn't refresh the page before posting to see there were already 10 replies.
But yes, the tracking number "ESUS" confirms it's an eBay International Standard Delivery shipment. "ESUS" is only used for 2 services, 1 of which is international.
Also that May 12 is just the current Asendia estimate. It could easily change. @olwilt-62 should look at their Order Details on eBay purchase history for eBay's estimate that was provided at the time of their original purchase. It probably extends longer and it's what the buyer needs to go by if they need to file a claim for any reason. Although like I said before, at this stage everything is normal and there's no need to worry.

interesting that the Ebay's EIS is shipping to Finland out Philly Pa. instead of out Laguardia Airport NY.

It's not eIS (eBay International Shipping). eIS hub is in Glendale Heights, IL just outside of Chicago.
This is eISD (eBay International Standard Delivery) handled by a third party called Asendia. Asendia has hubs all over the country. Philly is commonly used with this service.

Follow up. The John F. Kenndy International Airport is another one used by EIS would make since to use over the one in Philly Pa.
