Delivered confirmation

I received an item and the seller is asking to leave feedback which I want to do.

Unfortunately eBay doesn’t let me do it because the delivery status is still “dispatched”.

I contacted the seller and I was told I have to confirm and change it to “delivered”, but I cannoned find how to do it.

It was sent by Royal Mail 2nd class, so no trucking number.

Re: Delivered confirmation

@2015-tatsu,

You will need to repost this topic on your home site's community (community.ebay.co.uk/) This is the U.S. based site's community.  While the policies on the U.K. site are mostly the same as on this one, there can be minor differences.   The Dispatched notice you received may only mean that the seller has created a shipping label, it may not mean that they have shipped the item. That is something U.K. members would know about.

From what you wrote about the seller asking you to leave feedback, it sounds like the may be a new or infrequent seller, They may have a fair number of feedback and a 100% rating but it can all be for buying, at least in the last 12 months. You should check their feedback profile page.  If that is the case there is likely a hold on the payment you made. The funds will not be released until you leave a feedback.  However, you never leave a feedback before receiving an item, you probably cannot leave one yet because the first estimated delivery date has yet to pass.

Re: Delivered confirmation

Have you received the item? If not, you shouldn't be leaving feedback yet.

There is no way for a buyer to mark an item as having been delivered and in reality there shouldn't be a need to do that. Even if tracking hasn't been used, buyers can still leave feedback. I'm not sure why you can't.
