Cannot add a tracking number

Recently sold an item but I didn't use the ebay "print" shipping label option, I went straight to ship station and printed my own there. I emailed the buyer the tracking number but NOWHERE on the ebay order is a place to enter a tracking number. Yes I googled it and every response I read had options not available to me.

Go to your orders look under the listing title in question you will see "edit" or "add tracking". Click that to add your tracking number.

I had the same problem. After an item is shipped you must first add the tracking number and then add the shipper. If you add the shipper first the tracking number option will disappear.

If you don't use eBay labels you'll need to add the tracking information manually. To do that go to your sold items: https://www.ebay.com/sh/allselling/listings#orders_iframe To the right of the item sold you'll see a link to add tracking. Click that and enter the tracking number.

If you use seller hub  (you really should), go to your orders page: https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS  or your paid and shipped orders page:  https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED   and add the tracking.

Thank You! That worked in a very round about way. I was told next time to add a tracking number before I mark it as shipped. I'll try that next time. Thanks everyone!

Yes that advice is great when you're using the app @macsthe1. On the website it doesn't make much of a difference.

 Also, adding tracking will by default change the status to shipped. If you have tracking to add, you never have to select mark as shipped.
