Hi,
Why is there already an amount for shipping on my listing(s) when I set it up for
calculated shipping ? I am getting inquiries about the shipping price, and it
does seem exceptionally high for a 6 lb. package, 24 x 16 x 11 (inches), and
discouraging potential bidders. Any suggestions for this appreciative for Your time,
new seller ?
Thank You

The dimensions of your package are incurring surcharges due to the size. First it's calculated based on dimensional weight, not actual weight, because it's over a cubic foot. Second there's a nonstandard fee surcharge because the length exceeds 22". Third there's a $25 surcharge because the package exceeds 2 cu ft.
24 x 16 x 11 / 166 = 26 lb dimensional weight. Look up the USPS rates for a 26 lb package and add $29 in surcharges.
Some items are better off listed with local pickup only because size/weight makes shipping not worth the risk. If a buyer files a claim (even if they lie about the reason for the claim) you'll have to pay shipping both ways.
If you're determined to ship it, look into options UPS might offer, but do not purchase the label through eBay's UPS account because it will be near impossible to fight erroneous charges which happen more often than you'd expect.

Unrelated to your original question:
The turntable you have listed with for for parts/repair in the title, but you need to change the item condition to match. You have it listed as used which opens you up to claims. Suggest changing it to for parts or not working.

Hi,
Thank You for Your response, so does the predetermined size surcharges
prevent item from being blank on the shipping until a potential buyer enters
their zip ?

I don't fully understand your question. In search and on the listing buyers will see shipping rates consistent with their shipping address. If they change their shipping address at checkout before they pay then the ship cost will change if they're having it shipped to a different zone.
