I sold a nice VCR that I personally owned with very little use. It was in pristine working and looking condition. I packed it with the incredible care and took pictures of it packed. It came with the remote and the original manual. The buyer says it is broken and sends it back. I offered 30 day return buyer pays. I receive it back in a different box with very little bubble wrap and some paper. The VCR is moving all around in the box. No remote is in the box, no manual and the VCR has been taken apart the screws are loose on the sides and there are paint chips on the case It looks like 1. He jammed a tape in because the loading mechanism was pushed back or 2. He took a part out. I know this has been tampered with in some way. I contacted the Buyer and ask to have him please send me the remote and the manual I dont say anything about his shipping job and he states that he did not know that there was a remote or the manual with it he said he must have thrown it away with my box and packing. I know this is not the case these 2 items I had attached to the top of the VCR. It is listed in the header and the first picture in the listing has the remote and manual in it as well as several other pictures. 12 total pictures. He offers me $30 and said the remote goes for $5.00 or less on ebay and conveniently there are none for sale on Ebay. No mention of the owners manual. The VCR Sold for $90 and $17.10 for shipping. I am tired of taking a loss on products that I sell that I know are in perfect shape. It took me 45 minutes to box this up. I am out more money again and I have a broken VCR No remote or Manual. Did I mention it's a top rated seller also.. Thank you in advance for any help. Vincent, Retired, United States Navy
