I recently sold an item, but offered USPS Ground not Priority, but the buyer somehow selected Priority. What should I do? I don't want to quibble over $3, but I end up losing all my profit. What should I do in the future when offering shipping to avoid this?

Item number 166839484545 advertises Priority Mail as the only shipping option. You need to ship with the advertised Priority service.
How to avoid it in the future? Double check before publishing your listing to make sure Priority is not offered. Most of your current listings advertise Priority.

I'm with 101. Make sure when listing that you offer the method you'll provide. Good luck.

Adding to what has already been written, all that shipping language you put in your description is pointless - probably 50-75% of buyers don't even look at that.
You need to define your shipping options within the shipping section of the listing.

Its a small price to pay for something you can fix now so it won't happen again.

Thank you all. I will definitely need to check my listings and learn more about shipping.
