There's an old saying - "If it's not broken, don't fix it". Ebay tends to constantly want to fix things that work just fine. Case in point, the bulk shipping area. The latest change shows up with the ounce being "1" or "2". Because of this, if a package weighs 1.8 lbs, sellers tend to round up on their own sending that package as "2.0" lbs. Unfortunately, if that 1 or 2 is not changed to zero, the seller is charged 3 lbs because the USPS also rounds up to the next pound.
Removing these default single ounces would be a big help. On that note, does Ebay retain focus groups consisting of sellers? I network with many others and so far no one has been asked to participate.
Maybe another reason why Amazon has a lot more of the market share?
