Billing for UPS

Hello!

I normally ship via USPS but just shipped an item out through UPS today. I’ve noticed that UPS did not bill my eBay wallet/account. When will I be charged for the shipping label?

With UPS and Fedex you are not billed until the item has been delivered.

Hello, the item shows delivered but I have not been charged. How long does UPS take to charge after delivery?

UPS & FedEx wait til delivery for billing as they measure, weigh & check everything in order to properly overcharge, upcharge & bonus hidden charge you on the delivery if you did not provide proper dimensions & weight.

Within 30 days of delivery, or the next billing cycle for the carrier, it should show up.

If I put the weight as 10lbs when in reality it was less, will UPS tack on an additional charge or no?

I was informed by eBay customer service that if I was overcharged for UPS shipping they will process a dispute, but not sure if that will work as I have been reading through other threads on this platform.

In addition, the support agent told me that it normally takes 24-72 hours for the charge to go through for shipping.

With UPS, you never know if they'll add extra charges until you get the bill.

Today I was charged by UPS for a total of $29.92, which is what I originally paid for the shipping label. I'm very surprised they didn't tack on an additional thousand dollars for some bogus reasons...

Extra weight should not result in overcharge. Dimensions & destination would be the drivers for final cost in this case since those are the other factors in play.
