BOUND PRINTED MATTER

eBay needs to add "BOUND PRINTED MATTER" to the modes of shipping. Amazon has it. You can ship books, magazines with ads, etc. Generally, it is cheaper than Media Mail. You cannot buy it at USPS. It's on-line only

You guys actually drive packages to the Post Office?
I guess we all value our time differently.

I would think it would be cheaper to just mail it priority, stick it in the mailbox and raise the flag.

Yes, I value my time highly, more highly than having to hang around the house waiting for package pickup so they don't get stolen from my porch.  I sell too much to put it into the mailbox and raise the flag lol - can't get those puzzle size large flat rates in there.

Re: BOUND PRINTED MATTER

eBay needs to get with the USPS and secure the same permit that Amazon has for their Sellers. If eBay agrees that shipping costs directly affect sales on this site they should make this effort a #1 priority. What I sell on Amazon is no different than my situation on eBay. Amazon offers me shipping labels. eBay offers me shipping labels.

Re: BOUND PRINTED MATTER

100% agree! I always forget about it until I have an Amazon sale and it pops up. Would be an excellent option for items that don’t qualify for USPS MEDIA MAIL. I’ve been sending those items 1st Class at far greater expense than necessary. EBay start offering BPM to sellers!

Re: BOUND PRINTED MATTER

I list magazine lots on eBay, but I list single issue magazines on the other site and not eBay for this very reason. I wish eBay could add this feature as I would rather list them on eBay.
