Someone purchased an item that I had listed on ebay as a local pickup only. I have tried to contact this person via ebay email several times over 4 days and that person has not replied back. Ebay indicates that it is sold and that I need contact the buyer to arrange pickup. Any advice what my next step(s) should be? Thks!!

Has the buyer paid you? If so, I'd expect that they'll eventually reach out... whether it be for pickup or cancellation. Possibly the buyer didn't realize it was local pickup. Is the buyer's address near you, perhaps?
I guess my advice would be to sit tight for now. Good luck.

If the transaction is paid for you can use the Buyer's phone number on the transaction details to call and leave a message ... just one, too much communication isn't good.
I would also stop messaging them via eBay ... if you have been paid just wait. If you have not been paid wait 4 days and on the 5th day Cancel using the reason Buyer hasn't paid. They will get an unpaid item strike so you can add them to your blocked list on this page: Buyer Management | eBay

He has paid. I tried calling his number listed on transaction and it went to v/m. I think you are correct, they didn't realize it was local pickup only.
I will take your advice and sit tight.
Thks very much.

I will take your advice and stop trying to contact him through ebay email. I did try calling him but it went to v/m.
I am taking your advice, and others, and just sit tight for now.
Thks for your advice.

@phno-98 You are more than welcome ... many of us have been through that or similar situations. While you are being conscientious and want to satisfy the customer at times they just aren't or can't work things out.
At your convenience, post back here when things get worked out one way or the other ...
