I’ve been shipping with FedEx for a long time, and I’ve never seen anything like this before. FedEx charged me double, with no explanation. The package weighed 35 pounds, but to be safe, I marked it as 40 pounds. The dimensions I used were the ones eBay recommended, and the package size was correct according to the information from eBay. I initially paid $33 for shipping. Then, a week after delivery, they charged another $33 from my eBay balance without providing any explanation. I can't file a dispute because the FedEx page doesn’t show the option since the package was delivered. I'm writing here because I believe you can help. Thank you.

"The dimensions I used were the ones eBay recommended,"
Don't know where you got that eBay reccomends dimensions for your shipment unless you were guessing when you filled out the shipping section while making the listing.
Sellers have to enter the exact dimensions and weight when purchasing the label.

Did you pack the item in a shipping box? because FedEx will charge fee if a box it's used ,it is then considered by them a unusual shipment by FedEx

No, the product has its own packaging

I measured the dimensions and they were the same as the dimensions recommended by ebay and I said that I did not change it, brother, you should read it properly. Dimensions entered correctly. ebay already gets this information from people selling the same product

A lot of unknowns here....what was the box size, what was the ship from zip code and the ship to zip code? Had you shipped this item before for $33 with all the same info? Did you purchase the shipping label via ebay?
I just spent about a half hour today in my work getting the correct size box for a shipment with FedEx because going an inch over and adding 10 lbs, it became cheaper to ship in two boxes. I'm wondering if this is a large package and that 5lbs made a huge difference. Plus no idea why you can't get an answer from FedEX, I call them all the time. FedEx is not mistake free, but you need to call them

You were most likely hit with an "additional handling" surcharge because of the packaging you used @lionstarshops .
You can verify this by viewing the label details and expand the section on the bottom right that says see cost breakdown (highlighted below in green).
There are many surcharges with UPS and FedEx that are not factored in until the carrier physically reviews the package.
