1st for Me Priority Package Track Reads Forward Processed?

Can anyone inform me about USPS Tacking on a package I sent to a customer

2 day priority in New York City.  Address that customer provided...postal person left note, not secured location. Days went by...same thing. Now, reads Foward Procressed with Alert next to it. Below

is the message. I have contact this new buyer 3 times, no reply back. I even set up her email & phone text to receive day by day shipping updates. 

Does this mean? Package is on its way back to me? My 5 years of selling, never seen this before.

I included free ship...now, I will be out 6.50 on return package.  Not sure what to do, when it returns?

If, it returns back to me?

I'm a mail carrier. Sometimes people do not put in a COA until after they move. They may not have been home at delivery attempt so it was returned to the PO awaiting pick-up. The PO will hold it a minimum of 10 days. During that time if there was a COA placed then the package would have been sent through forwarding.  A new COA will take around 5 days to deliver. Best thing you can do is calm down and wait. DO NOT contact the buyer or jump to refund. If something is wrong they will contact you, don't go borrowing trouble.

Well, this is Surely First for Me! I thought post office waited 10 days for customer to sign for package? Package is being returned bacl to me today. I put in the tracking and package is coming back to me! 

Now, out 6.50 in ship and not one email reply from the new buyer. Buyers remorse, and returned the package. Can any sellers on here, tell me, whats the next step? Not going to refund, until they open case or contact me for refund. Block her. Leaving for medical emergency to take care of my Mom. I'm removing all my listings this weekend. At this point, truly done with Ebay.

you are wrong...package is coming back to me today. I just received a text, out for delivery to my home. I thought post office held a package for 10days? Less than 7 days. Ole well, another day in Ebay World.

Then it maybe another scenario.

People sometimes move and NEVER put in a COA. The notice was left and during the following days the carrier and Postmaster gave up on them collected piled up mail out of the mailbox and sent back what they could to the senders as unclaimed.

In fact, I just did the same at 2 lots in the trailer park I deliver to. A couple had a domestic dispute, according to a neighbor she assaulted him with a full litterbox when their daughter was sitting right beside him. Next thing we know she and her father and his girlfriend (another trailer) have skipped out taking the child. The guy has moved somewhere else, and CPS is scrambling. And the mail piles up including notices of certified mail and several small China Post packages. Due to actually talking to CPS one day while delivering mail there I let these pile up for a full 2 months. After all, the TP owner can't rent the units out until eviction proceedings are done. I pulled the mail the day I noticed that the trailers had been emptied of their contents and cleaning crew working.

I just want to say I'm so sorry! We've been through it too. My FIL just passed & now MIL is dying. Full time caregiving doesn't leave time or energy for anything else. I'm paying for a store just for the vacation settings. I used it 4 weeks ago when FIL died & I can use it when I need to not worry about ebay. Be safe & take care of yourself.

@mg152thank you for your comforting works. I'm now with my Mom 😞 I arrived in Mississippi on 6/6 Been horrible 2 years for both of us. We have Our Faith and that Keeps Us Strong.
My package is in limbo??? Still have no information or updates. Buyer will not reply to my messages. I'm her 2nd purchase. Newbie with no manners. At this point, don't care. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Closed now and may not return. I've have some fabulous buyers over the 5 years. Only had 2 rotten eggs over the year. Nasty mean man left me negative feedback. He was total nightmare from start to finish. I gave him expensive native American shoes and full refund. He was my worst! Ebay wouldn't remove his negative feedback. He wrote on my fb....seller from H#ll...that one was hard to take and hurt me deeply. I gave him. 100% Ebay still allowed him to write that fb. Take care 🙂

There are mean people in this world. Just yesterday my MILs sister sent the police over here. She said we were neglecting or abusing her sister.
The cop came in, we showed him around & he said there's nothing wrong here. He just lost his grandmother that he & his wife were caregivers to her. We told him it was spite.
My point is you can't let mean rude people get to you. I hope you'll come back. I will pray for you & your family. I'm so sorry about everything. You seem like a nice person & you don't deserve any grief right now. Come back & let us hear from you please!
