Today, 3-30-22, I searched for Tax Token Error, something which I knew would bring up at least one listing as I had bid on one.  The search brought up nothing, however, under my personal info, I had bid on one and the listing was active. I had the same issue with other searches. Anyone else having this problem?  Thank you

How are you searching?

A general search for tax token error turns up 14 results in all categories that ship to my location:

I'm experiencing the same issues as well.  At the moment, the search engine is unable to produce more thorough results. Typing in a singular word works, for the most part. However, if your inquiry requires something a little more exact, that's where the problem arises. I've been currently using Google Search at the moment to find what I'm looking for.

Yes OP, it is broken bad at the moment. You should run from these forums though, if you want to keep your sanity.

What search are you doing that seems to not be working?

If google is finding things for you, that is fine. But google tends to prioritize pages that have been up for a long time and that have many other pages pointing to them; that might be good for some eBay catalog pages, but it may not find the most recent listings.

What category are you searching? What sort order are you using? What page are you starting from?

If I do a general search starting from the main ebay.com page with no prior filters or limits, I get 14 (now 13) results for that search:

Dude, I keep repeating the same thing to you. Just like the OP's in the multiple threads you replied to, clicking your link gives no results on 4 of 4 browsers and my Android phone. The only one that sometimes shows results is if I open those links in an incognito window and even that is hit or miss. This is the same for 5 employees from 5 different states, dozens of people in threads here today and judging by traffic and sales about 60% of buyers on eBay at the moment.

@mysterycardz  I can confirm clicking on the link @eburtonlab provided shows 0 results for me in Chrome on desktop but does show results for me in FireFox.

Not sure if it could be related, but in the chat today the community team indicated eBay was rolling out visual image search for the apps again - it had previously been disabled in December due to causing "inconsistencies" in search, with some users reporting 0 result search like this prior to it being disabled.

I understand these aren't images searches, just wondering if changes/updates made to accommodate that could have caused a bug or glitch somewhere?

Also just to add more info - I turned off all ad blockers, privacy apps etc just to see if that would fix it, still no results in Chrome. Then tried incognito in Chrome, and like @mysterycardz said it was hit or miss, 13 results once, then 0 in a new incognito window 2 more times after that.

I did OK in Chrome and on Android's ebay app, but Bing shows zero. I'm finding other searches are somewhat hit or miss as well. I think this is going to be a tough one, because I think different people are seeing different things....it doesn't seem like it's tied to a particular browser or something like that. I don't have time tonight to keep testing this, but it seems pretty random.
