Please forgive my lack of knowledge here. Don't even know if I picked right board .  I can not reply to a message , when I click on the reply tab , it takes me to my summary page .  I have searched thru the forums and found , if you go to your regular email page and reply , that this works .  Not for me ,  it goes to summary page.   If I use a regular pc at work ,  seems to work fine ,  but not on my cheaper a12 phone which my phone company stuck me with ,  after telling me my other phone will not keep working .   Any advice fellow ebayers.

Yes - messaging seems completely broken right now:

1. I get taken to my messages list if I pick the option to link to an item.
2. I often get an error screen for no reason I can work out.
3. I can only message 5 people per day if I use the option that it is not related to an item - EVEN WHEN IT IS

I have spent hours now on the chat system explaining the issue. I have spent hours now sending messages broken down into paragraphs & doing it that way.

This is wasting so much time and I am getting really annoyed bidders waiting for answers.

I've been on eBay for 18 years they told me this morning - this is the worst it has ever been.

Even posting this did not work the first time! I got an error screen.

eBay is utterly broken right now. Plus they have just charged me an arbitrary £40+ for cancelling an auction early without saying that it would happen. Lovely!

Absolutely agree…. Messages and messaging is totally messed up right now. I hope they fix it soon!

Try another method to reach your eBay message inbox, or another browser.

Use the eBay app.

Use a mobile browser in mobile mode.

Use a mobile browser in desktop mode.

Use a desktop browser.

Try a different link, such as this link to messages from members:

https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0/m2m

Try signing in to ebay.ca or another site and viewing your message inbox there.
