What's up with the gigantic header??

If you have an ad blocker, try adding a custom rule, like this:

community.ebay.com##.custom-hero.magenta

In addition to the magenta version, there are also a teal and a red header version you may want to suppress as well.

What's up with the gigantic header??

I realized how reliant I had become on ad blocking to make clunky pages usable a couple of years ago when Firefox had an update one Saturday morning that broke all add-ons, and I was left browsing without an ad blocker.

With AdBlock Plus you can choose an element on the page to block then click on the element you wish to block (giant header)

Maybe they could turn it blue-grey and fill it with snowflakes?

That'd be a lot better than acres of cornea burning whiteness.
