Never understand why there isn't an announcement/link ON the seller board .  I know it's in Announcements.....but why not in the side bar...........people forget.........

I'd also note.......no email reminder either..........in my email account or ebay messages

lol, I do see an email reminder time stamped 2:02..........wasn't there at 2:21 when I posted.........  but, in any case, that was a bit late (my opinion)........

I got an email reminder from eBay on Tuesday this week.

I got 2 email reminders from eBay on Thursday about an hour before the event, one of which had a link to log in early if people wanted to chat and network.

I got another email about 2 hours after the event with the link to replay the videos.

I also got a Google Calendar alert 10 min before the event because when I register for eBay events they are automatically added to my Google Calendar.

To your initial point: a pinned post on the Selling forum for 1 week leading up to the event is a good idea.

I think the takeaway should be that those who already know that is something that happens regularly and know how to get alerts will get plenty, but the average seller probably either doesn't know about it or how to sign up for alerts, so a pinned post would be wonderful.

elizabeth@ebay  Can that be a planned thing for the next Seller Check In? Since it's aimed at Sellers specifically, I agree that a pinned post on the Selling board would be a perfect choice.

You’re absolutely right — having an announcement link directly on the seller board or sidebar would make things much easier to notice. It would also help if eBay sent a quick reminder email or message for important updates. Hopefully, they’ll consider adding this feature soon!
