Please go back to the older search with the filters on the sidebar. It was easier to find items when I could bring up the pop-up menu with ALL the filters - including item location - not just the filters eBay decides to stick us with. I also prefer being able to set my own price margins for a search, not the ones eBay sticks us with. In short - you keep "fixing" things that aren't broken, making your pages less aesthetically pleasing to view, more difficult to navigate, providing LESS motivation to visit your site.

I use a computer so if you use the app on a phone or tablet, I do not know what search results page's filters are on it. I've been searching a lot on ebay lately and see the left side bar with filters on everything I have searched for. If you use a computer as well, is it possible you enlarged your screen view so the left side bar is not showing? scroll to the bottom of a results page and if you see a gray slide bar you would have to slide it to the left to see the filters, or hold down the control button and rotate your mouse wheel towards you. In the address bar you should see a magnification % show up.
I have noticed that in some category searches there are fewer filters but some have " + " and when that symbol is clicked on more options are available. I do agree when the More Filters button is clicked the popup window has limited options.

I did run across that later on, randomly. I just went to the search bar and typed in "synthesizer" and, yes, the filters were on the left side. But when I did the same exact search yesterday, from the same eBay home page, the filters were not there. There were just a few filters, each in it's own little oblong oval, at the top of the page. It gets very frustrating when I can't get the same result, doing the same thing.

By the way, I only use a computer. My phone is just a phone. I have all that stuff disabled on it.

I have noticed that when browsing a category, filter options do not always appear.
I find that when searching using keywords, the filter options are much more consistently shown.
If you find yourself trying to browse an entire category and need to use filters that are not shown, try searching using the category name as your search keywords.

Whoever made these changes should be fired without severance, as well as the people who approved said changes. Bring back the old functionality ebay. I promise you if you don't I'm going to spend several hundred thousand dollars less per year on ebay, not because I don't want to, but because I won't be able to search properly.
This is hands down one of the dumbest changes I have ever seen to any website.

You are not reaching ebay employees.
We are members like you and can not do what you think WE are "fixing".

That's what bugs me - they know who the power buyers who spend 5, 6, even 7-digit numbers are, but I've never heard of them reaching out and asking "hey, what do you think of this change?" Although I guess they know what the answer will be.
