Notification Bell

Anyone else see their notification bell displaying incorrectly this morning?  When I clicked on View All I actually had no new notifications.

Me too.  I didn't get a pic of it though.  I wonder if this means that they are FINALLY working on the problems with notifications, emails etc. 

If they are like ebay programmers something usually breaks when they update it.

I'm glad it's not just me @comics-scifi-collectibles - I came in to a bit of a panic this morning. It looks like it's only on certain pages (I noticed it on the home page, but when I went to a different board my notifications showed up appropriately). 

I'll make sure that it gets reported!

Can you what pages are you seeing this on? Mobile or desktop? And what are your browsers and systems? Finally does a refresh clear it up?

I'm not seeing it myself so need a bit more info to go on. Thanks!

rebecca@ebay  for me it seems to be pretty random.  I'll see it when I'm on one page and then if I reload, or go to a different page and then go back, it won't be there any more.

The bonus of the bell functioning properly is it truly lets someone know that what they previously written has been read and that there may be more new comments available. Otherwise the discussion board becomes a place of zillions of posts. The old dreaded needle in a haystack scenario. Maybe a "Mark as Read" option would be an added improvement?

I am using Chrome on Windows 10 desktop.  Just now when I opened it with the link on the Seller Hub overview page , I went right to the Seller Hub discussion board, which is normal.  The bell showed 3 notifications.  When I clicked on View All and then clicked on one of the notifications, when that page opened ( which happened to be this one) the bell changed and shows 101 again.

ETA  Doing a refresh did clear it.

I'm seeing it randomly--on some pages, not on others. It doesn't seem to correlate to specific pages. It updates to the correct number when loading a new page or refreshing the screen, and then back to 101 when loading another page. 

I'm also using Windows 10/Chrome browser/desktop version/Adblock Plus.

I have seen it randomly as well.  Windows 10 Chrome and on the mobile site on my Android.   

I have not experimented much with Firefox yet to see if the problem persists there.  

I am getting THIS error VERY often when trying to "helpful" a  post or reply on Firefox and Chrome

I use the  "Mark all as read" option all the time.
