Enough with the Simplify Your Sign-In !

Having to sign in every time I come back to the boards. And to make it even more annoying is every time I put in my password and click sign in I get the stupid stupid prompt to Simplify my Sign-In with no option to say NO forever.

It wants me to use a PIN (don't have one) or use face (monitor does not have a camera) or fingerprint (not sure how that works with this old monitor).

And here it goes again! This annoying stupid silly piece of junk called Simplify Your Sign-In. No option to say NO ... I actually think they are trying to encourage me to not hang out of these boards every day! LOL

When you log in to eBay there's a "stay signed in" checkbox at the bottom. Why not just stay signed in and don't sign out if you're on your home computer? Don't delete your eBay cookies.

Then you can avoid the passkey prompt.

Stay signed in is checked and has always been checked. I never sign out.

I think this might be a Khoros thing. When I leave the boards and go do other things online and then come back to the boards I get the sign in thing but if I click on the ebay logo on these boards and go to ebay I'm signed in. I can look at my seller hub and see the things I've recently viewed etc. I'm just constantly logged out of the boards only.

I guess never trust a company that used to be Lithium.

I guess it's not just me! I've had to sign in to the eBay community 3 times over the past few days, but have remained logged in to the main eBay site.

It's now happening to me almost every time I try to read the board on my Ipad and rather often on my desk computer.

It's happening to me as well ... almost every time for the last few days.  I thought it was my computer.

I visit the forums regularly.

The past 3 days any time I go to this forum now, I HAVE to log in, unless I leave the page open and active in the browser.  Doesn't matter if I go straight here or from eBay.  Regardless if the box is checked or not. I have even tried clearing the site data in case it is a caching issue. No joy.

Going to eBay from here is fine, but from eBay to here prompts a login.   So I have been keeping a tab open to the website for now to get around it, but that's not ideal.  I don't like leaving webpages open all the time.

It makes me log in even when I leave a separate forums browser tab open and logged in.

I never log out, but it makes me log in again.

Sometimes, it'll tell me that I don't have internet and won't let me log in, but it lets me traverse all over the forums logged out even though it claims I have no internet when I try to log in, and never logged out in the first place.

It’s been happening with me for about a week.  I stay signed in to the actual eBay website, but Every. Single. Time.  I come to the boards I have to sign in . . . even if I was just on it 2 minutes ago.

Same with myself.  I recall it was doing the same thing a while back and the one day it stopped.  I could turn my computer on and off and the page would open just clicking on it, no other input needed.

I've got the same thing going on as @readabouthorses , and the 'stay singed' in box does me no good, I hit it every time, and every time I have to sign back in.  Been this way for about a week now.
