Be aware a robot selected “best answer” for today’s post. Robots now making selections not people!

Has that ever happened before that a robot entered the poster’s conversation and selected the best post not me the person who started the conversation.

Plus I happen to disagree with the robots choice!

The ebay employee team that manages the Community did say a while back that they may select a best answer for threads. I don't know if that's what happened in your case though.

If it's not happening now, I'm sure it won't be long... A number of AI experts have predicted AI will reach 'singularity' in less than a decade, meaning they will no longer be under human control.

Can't sat James Cameron didn't warn us.

Certain eBay employees will select the best answer if they feel it is.

I had one of my post where an employee selected the best answer.  On post where I am following the conversation I have seen eBay employee select the best answer once.

It happens and if you started the post or are following the post then you would be notified when the employee accepted the best answer.

What did you notification say when the best answer was selected for you?  You should still have this information in you notifications.

Sometimes. Five of them are online now. That's the most I've ever seen logged in at once.

Absoulty I am saying that.  

Here is a sample.  But unless you were part of the conversation and have notifications turned on you would not have been notified that it is eBay who selected the Best Answer.  They did announce quite a while ago that they would be doing this.
