updated messaging

What do you think about the new messaging system? I prefer the classic one

This is one of the few changes/improvements that I prefer.

I hate it, I had folders to keep things straight, things like good buyers, jerks, sales in progress etc, they were all gone and the messages that were in them. I switched back to the classic view and my folders are there but all the messages inside are still AWOL

Yes, but surely the classic will last for a short time and they will put the new format as default.

Of course they'll eventually force us all to the new system, but it's been well over a year since it first appeared (maybe significantly longer, I don't remember) and they haven't forced us over yet.  I think they're actually doing the right thing and making sure they get at least the most essential features figured out before they force the move.

It doesn't work for me at all; I've no problem contacting another member, but the reply is un-readable - i get a preview but when i click on that i just get an option to reply, i don't have the actual message to read.

So yeah, pretty much useless - i can go to email and read mail from ebay members of course, but the functionality of messaging on ebay itself is pretty much zip at present imo.

Wish we had the option to switch back to classic but for some of us we dont get that option. I HATE the new messages cant not useful at all to me. In fact its difficult to use!!!!!!!!!

Like the majority of members, I too HATE IT! It's NOT user friendly and it no longer offers full-screen like the CLASSIC VERSION when typing a message. You are relegated to a small box in the right-hand corner. You also can no longer upload 10-photos when creating a new message.

PLEASE EBAY: TRASH THIS NEW VERSION or ADD THE OPTION TO USE THE OLD CLASSIC VERSION.

I don't like this  and no way to get back to classic, What we had before was all that we needed it worked. Now I feel I have to figure out how email in a text format or is it the other way around text in an email format. My folders that were set up are still there but are now empty of content. Thanks ebay for creating another monster in your lab and letting it loose on the villagers.

How about instructions and how to use it with the change?

The bird in the mailbox is a stupid symbol I have to look at every day?!?!

AND all my saved stuff is GONE! I NEVER had the option to go back to classic.

It was just forced on me to use.
