I have bids from "unregistered user"---Not sure what that means and are there any caveats for the seller

“Not a registered user” is where eBay shuts down an account user. They are no longer a viable member of eBay, but i thought those buyers get removed from auctions automatically with a notice to the seller.

Yeah check the bids my hunch is they were cancelled.
