How are other sellers doing in sales as of late? I find my sales have pretty much dried up from a month or so ago. Would like to hear from other sellers to see how they are doing with sales.

The month of June has been great until the last 4 days. It's been horrid! I currently have over 515 active listings and average over 7 sales a day in mostly the Men's clothing department. My wife integrated Shopify and Skububble and it messed up my listings. I thought it had something to do with that but I guess I'm in the same boat of barely any sales the past few days.

There is definitely something going on. People keep equating it to the views update, but at least for us, the difference occurred June 19. We already noticed the view change about a month ago, but on June 19, our promoted listing impressions fell by 50%+. From about 300,000 a day average to 101,000 average the past 4 days. When the view changes occurred our promoted listings impressions fell, but not that drastically. June 19th though, they fell from 3 to 100k. Also, just to note, the Organic impressions only fell by about 5% so barely any changes there. It seems to have something to do with promoted impressions. At least for us. Our sales have not cratered but definitely noticing a difference. For the impressions to change that drastically overnight points to an issue in the software. Could have something to do with the views update, maybe behind the scenes, but again our views have been changed for at least a month now and the impressions already took a hit when that changed a month ago. So it is not from that. We are very aware of the update to views and impressions with the bots etc. So taking that all into account, and after a week of tinkering with the promoted listings, we are confident it is that software that has the issue as again, organic impressions have not really changed since the original drop from view and impressions update last month. The promoted impressions literally drop from that 300k+ number per day to 100K a day and none of the listings were ended or anything. Hopefully with this many people noting some sort of issue and taking into account that not everyone is unfamiliar with the bot issue/update it means that there is something else going on that will hopefully be fixed.

Aldo1959,
My sales have completely dried up, too!! I was going from making $100 to $200 a day to NOTHING! I have had to reduce prices drastically! I guess I'm not the only one.

I'm such an eBay loser that I had **2** sales today & that put me up to 142.7% over the last 31 days! LOL!

It's summer and that means car season. Sales of auto parts have been consistent, if not better than usual. February was great with tax season. The more items I list, the more consistent daily sales I have.

Usually been doing 1-3 sales a day with the occasional 0 sale day. Sales for me have been better than they were in February and March. April on, each month has been better than the last. But part of it was probably because I started listing again in April after a 4 or 5 month hiatus. Mostly sell a mix of clothing, books, and makeup.
Been doing markdown sales. And doing a lot of offers. And lowering prices a little bit each week. Particularly after a markdown sale.

Just an update! I have now been able to reach over 600 active listings. Unfortunately I'm not selling as much but I know putting in the grind will prepare my store for the fourth quarter.

Your sales are up over 100% and you're complaining? 😉

Sellers come here EVERY DAY (all year) complaining about slow sales and have been doing so for as long as the boards have been around.

I've been getting really annoyed lately from these losers that complain about slow sales and then you look at their store & you can see exactly why their sales are slow lol. Everyone wants to blame eBay but nobody wants to put more time & effort into their store. My favorite one was this once recently where this seller was complaining about slow sales in a post & when I looked at their store, for every single listing they only had one dismal photo & didn't even accept returns. It's like what do you expect when you not only sell garbage but also don't even take time to show the customer as many photos as possible and maybe allow returns to insure buyer confidence; almost all buyers are purchasing from random strangers on the internet so maybe try and present your item as best as you can & offer returns so the buyer can be confident! So many loser sellers on these boards lately it's not only sad but really fing sad. Sorry I've just been on a rant lately as I really hate seeing so many people that can't take the blame for their own problems & feel the need to always blame someone else AKA eBay. Cheers. My sales have been amazing & great and on an ascending trajectory because I am doing everything in power to insure that I have the best store & items possible.

Good job. But when a majority of your items are selling for 3.75. Sorry to tell you but it looks like the only one who is really profiting from your sales is Ebay. If that works for you, right on and more power to you.
Sighed,
Your loser friend

Yes, but I'm moving older inventory. I make most of my profit selling my higher profit items. of which 15 sold yesterday averaging roughly 15% margins. To many sellers are crying about sales instead of actually doing something about it.

Still getting sales, but people are being really cheap. More returns than I'm accustomed to. I'm having to promote my listings at a higher percentage which I'm not that comfortable with. I have adjusted volume pricing because it would be great if buyers purchased 2 or more items, but that's rare. Sent out coupons from both stores, 1 got used on each store(thousands sent). Must be July.
