Did you mean:

single item GTC

I should know better than to ask ebay planted scripted robots a question like this but here goes. OK with your ALL HOLY GTC alot of my items are 1 of a kind stuff. So I list it and it sells and the stupid program asks me why am I ending my item early.  I know back in the day ebay penalized you for ending items early. So I am NOT ENDING MY LISTING EARLY.  It sold. How do I fix this. Why wont my item end on its own??  How can I make it end ?  Please dont come back saying to end it early. Im NOT ending it early. IT SOLD !!!! PERIOD !!!

I don't think the OP was insulting anyone here, it read to me like he was talking about phone CS and getting some confusing answers from them, and is frustrated and so asks for the low down here. I've sold here for a bunch of years and the whole OOS business is confusing to me, too (I don't use it, being pretty much just a used stuff seller with this and that).

Re: single item GTC

. It just sucks because again it has to go through 3 billing cycles I see just another trick to suck more money out of us if they can.

You have 23 items listed.

You have up to 50 FREE listings every month.

You are not paying eBay anything to list, and could double the number of free listings you use and still not pay anything.

It has become noticeable that most of the really angry and belligerant complaints about GTC are from sellers who don't want to pay to use the site.

I'm beginning to think that eBay does want the freeloaders to leave.

I've been here a long time, and when details are clearly shared, many questions and problems can be solved or explained.

And that's why you have such a great solution-to-post ratio*--you're knowledgeable about selling and willing to share that knowledge with others to actually solve their problems. It's a good way to judge a poster--better than the number of helpfuls, for example.

*About 1 solution for every 90 posts (give or take, plus or minus, more or less).

Thanks so much for that, but I certainly don't consider myself among the knowledgeable posters.  Actually, your solution-to-post ratio is much better than mine.  I tend to ask a lot of questions in hopes of getting enough details for others to solve the dilemmas.

The truly "helpful" posters are well known to the board, and figured out quickly by posters needing real help.  They don't toot their own horns for attention as some have done lately.
