shipping

Now that ebay is collecting our proceeds and not giving it to us immediately upon sales we will have to delay shipping until we get the monies for our items into OUR bank. This was a poor move on ebay's part to NOT give us the option, and see what their hard working sellers want.!!

Seems they had time on their hands to make up this change and not to speed up their billing.

Spend monies on newer servers with solid state drives not spinning drives, CALL DELL OR IBM SOON....

When I Started  ON EBAY MANY YEARS AGO it took no time at all for billing, now you have to wait multiple days to find out what you owe to pay them from your PAYPAL account before they dig into your checking account or credit card.

Did they just have to come up with something for the sake of change or that they were trapped on zoom calls etc...???

NO OPTIONS FOR US THE SELLERS KEEPING THEM AFLOAT.

May be time to stop selling or move on to another format, since after all they are making us start all over again with their new rules/ demands unwarranted to boot !!

Too Bad,....

Re: shipping

Well gee, I don't  know if anyone is going to make this pity party.

I believe most people have a little money on hand to run the business when they start a business.

Since you've been paid from prior sales from the  beginning of the year  I can't help but ask what did you do with that money?

Re: shipping

I keep between three and five hundred in my PayPal account year round so my shipping is covered.  After four weeks on managed payments I have received four weekly payouts on time.  I see no problems here.

Re: shipping

Oops, I posted before I finished.

Do you have a credit card? Then you can go to paypal.com/shipnow and make a label.

I don't  know for a fact but I believe your handling time starts when eBay says it's paid and it's time to ship because that means the payment was successful, it cleared, didn't bounce.

Re: shipping

I'm trying to understand your post. I gather you are now in Managed Payments? Not sure, but it sounds like you seem to think you cannot pay for ebay shipping labels until the buyer's money is in your bank account. If that's what you think, you are wrong. If ebay says you can ship, you use your "pending payments" to pay for the labels. I've been doing this for many months, no real problems. You can occasionally run into a problem if , for example, ebay has put a hold on some of your money (due to a return request or whatever), and so your pending payments are insufficient to pay for the labels.. This is why I made sure to keep money in my PayPal account....Just switch from "pending payments" to "PayPal" as your funding source for that label, and ship it.

There is absolutely NO reason to wait till the money actually gets into your bank account
