search is broken

Anyone notice the search is more screwed up than before.

millions missing in general search depending on what browser used.

I searched jeans, first picture is results from chrome, second is firefox.   also noticed tons of UK listings and also listing from ukraine.   try the search with different items results differ in each browser.

could this be a reason sales are slow for some

Perhaps 1,400,000+ listings just sold to be why there is a drop in the results..............nah, they could not be hidden, or regional or (Add your thoughts here). It gets worse if you had in specifics - THEN the Ebay AL kicks in and only shows you WHAT THEY THINK (or more likely) WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO BUY - not all the choices available.

Were the search refinements exactly the same in both browsers?

In any event, who searches for "jeans" with no additional qualifyers? If somebody did do you think they would just stop there or go on to further refine?

FYI - When I do a generic search for "jeans" from the eBay home page I get:

Firefox - 3,815,380 results

Chrome - 3,814,488 results

No one would just type jeans, and even if they did, they would never go through 5 million results. Of course there would not be 5 million pages of listings. You must narrow the search if you want better results. It has nothing to do with Ebay hiding items and it would be too much for servers to load and for buyers to look through. What would be easier is to not list against 5 million other items if you want better sales.
